Wellesley uses the commuter rail and paratransit service called The Ride, both services provided by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority.
Officials say The Ride will stick around indefinitely, but once MWRTA bus service begins, it will be incumbent upon the MWRTA to provide comparable paratransit service to Wellesley.
