Dunkin Donuts Approved for Fifth Wellesley Location

The Dunkin Donuts location on Central Street is coming between July and November. The Board of Selectmen also discussed two liquor license applications.

Wellesley will continue to run on Dunkin--another Dunkin Donuts location is on its way to the town.

Representatives from the Dunkin Donuts location aiming to open at 98 Central Street came before the Wellesley Board of Selectmen at their meeting last night. With some discussion, the Board approved the application for a common victualler license unanimously.

The Selectmen did add a condition that they schedule a study with the town's traffic engineers at Beta Engineering.

According to the Swellesley Report in March, the location will be a combination of Baskin Robbins' ice cream and the donut shop aims to open between the end of July and beginning of November.

At the same meeting, the Board of Selectmen approved a wine and beer license for Susu's Bakery Boutique, which plans to start serving wines at their lunch service. After a lengthy discussion with the Board, Justine's Table withdrew their application for a liquor license.
