Baskin Robbins Heading for Wellesley

A one-stop shop for donuts and ice cream is looking to open in the former Neena's location, via the Swellesley Report.

 

Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts are teaming up to serve up sweet treats in the heart of Wellesley.

Wellesley's Design Review Board considered an application for signs for Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts. The coffee and ice cream shop will be lobated at 98 Central Street, beneath the Wellesley Theatre Project.

Dunkin'-Robbins has not yet gone before the Board of Selectmen to seek approval to open. According to the Swellesley Report, the combination ice cream/donut shop aims to open between the end of July and beginning of November.

The Baskin-Donuts location would be Wellesley's fifth. There are the two located on Route 9, near the border with Natick, 951 and 978 Worcester Street, along with 277 Linden Street and 12 Washington Street.
