Michelle Chalmers, Neighbor

My name is Michelle Chalmers and I live in Wellesley with my husband and two sons. I first moved to Wellesley as a teenager and graduated Wellesley Senior High with the class of 1986.  I have lived in California, Texas and Florida and finally decided to move back to Wellesley in 2008 to raise my children in this wonderful town. I received a BSW from Wheelock College and a MSW from San Diego State University. I was a social worker for many years and have investigated day care centers for sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect and conducted forensic interviews of child victims for the sexual assault unit of the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. Currently, I am a sales representative for a local company. I am currently serving on the board as Secretary for the World of Wellesley and a board member of the Friends of Wellesley METCO. I am a co-chair of the Diversity Committee at Bates Elementary School and a family-friends coordinator for the METCO program at Bates.
