Selectmen to Choose Two Charities to Benefit from Boston Marathon Invitations

The Board of Selectmen will take applications from charitable organizations interested in benefitting from Boston Marathon fundraising. The Boston Athletic Association offers invitations applications to those interested in running the Boston Marathon each year to the towns along the marathon’s route. The goal of the invitational entries is to allow the communities to raise funds for charitable causes, according to a letter from the Board of Selectmen.
