Wellesley Police Call Stats: Four Commercial Break-ins
Wellesley Police statistics indicate highest number of 2013 arrests in May.
So far in 2013, six businesses in Wellesley have been broken into. Of those, four happened in the month of May. The Police Department released their May call stats last week. In the month of May, the Wellesley Police Department received about 49 calls a day on average, up a little bit from April--but still not quite as many as in November and December of last year. The month of May also had the highest number of arrests thus far this year, with 23 brought into custody. While the year-to-date numbers thus far look close to those in 2012, it is still impossible to say how the rest of the year will look.
