Parking and Not Riding Just after 8 p.m. on May 5, Officer Cunningham was patrolling a commercial parking lot on Linden Street. He haw a vehicle parked with two men inside, and queried the vehicle. The query determined that there was an outstanding warrant in the name of the registered owner. After confirming that the driver was the registered owner, police arrested and charged Michael Reddish of Natick, 21, on the outstanding default warrant out of Framingham District Court. Warrant Served Officer Derby received word that a warrant was outstanding for Hyde Park man, Raphael Figuero, 21, and that he may be at the Whole Foods location on Washington Street on April 29, before 7 p.m. When police arrived and confirmed that he was present, he was arrested and charged on the outstanding probation warrant. He was booked and transported to the station, then held and taken to court in the morning. The car pulled over at a Rice Street, and the officer requested the driver's license and registration. Roadside Snooze At about 11:55 p.m. on April 17, Officer Joseph received a report of a vehicle off the road. Near the 650 block of Worcester Street, he located a Jeep which was stopped on the curb. As he came up, he noticed one person inside who appeared to be asleep at the wheel, and that the right front wheel seemed to have been burst from hitting the curb. The officer then tapped on the window, and the driver began to stir and woke up. The driver, a New Bedford resident, Adam Reis, age 23, told police that he was unfamiliar with the area. Police learned that he had a suspended license. No Bad Publicity On March 31, police received a report of a landscaper who had been distributing fliers around town, placed inside a plastic bag with a few rocks in them. The reporting caller said he was concerned of the rocks getting caught in a snow-blower or lawnmower, and noted he had had issues with these fliers in the past. These fliers had been distributed in the past, and the business has received town bylaw violations in the past as a result. Police also learned that the owner of the business had a suspended license. Street Party At about 11 p.m., a Willow Street resident complained that there were a number of people gathering on the street, causing a disturbance. When Officer Derby arrived on scene, he reported seeing a number of emtpy beer cans and bottles scattered across the lawn, and the smell of alcohol hung in the air. After speaking with the resident, he determined that a number of the people in the party were underaged. Police took 17-year-old Blake Ewanewski of of Willow Street into custody, and charged him with possessing alcohol while being under 21, and providing alcohol to kids under 21. Officer Derby helped them located a Nicholas Sheridan of Lowell, age 22, who police located on Mayo Road, 7:45 p.m. on March 25. They brought him to the station and courtesy booked him before transferring him to Lowell Police custody. They were seeking charges on a restraining order violation. Fake Prescriptions Police were dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy on Linden Street for a report of a customer attempting to fill a questionable prescription. Officer Brooks arrived on the scene before 2 p.m. on March 23. The pharmacist identified a woman at the store, and told police that something seemed incorrect about the scrip she was trying to fill, which is when he contacted the issuing doctor, whose office said they had not written a prescription for the woman.
