Does Wellesley host a solution to the end of the era of the Twinkie? Donald Sheridan, 59, of Wellesley has written in to express interest in buying Hostess, according to the New York Post. Today, Monday, is the deadline to express interest or put in a bid for the company. “I’ve been looking for a business to buy for a long time but do not have the capital,” Sheridan told The Post. While the Post calls the bid "off-beat" and "an extreme longshot," it also notes that Perella Weinberg, the bank handling the bid, must treat it as serious. Sheridan apparently came "to the conclusion that bankruptcy proceedings have become nothing more than a means to employ stupid lawyers and stupid judges instead of being the means to teach stupid people …
