It's Not Always Easy Being Vegan
While vegetarians can adjust to many eating situations, vegans have a decidedly tougher time.
Vegetarians don't always have it easy. Depending on the situation, a non-meat eater could find herself in a situation – road trip, vacation or otherwise - where the only options involve chicken, beef or pork. If you think vegetarianism is difficult, try being a vegan on any college campus. Wellesley College junior Maya Alexis Lochan, 20, was a vegan once upon a time. By definition, vegans do not eat any animal products or byproducts. While Lochan tried out the vegan lifestyle about two-and-a-half years ago, she said since she's been at Wellesley, it hasn't always been easy.
