One of Wellesley’s own is on this season of ‘Survivor: Philippines” check in here to see how she did.
It took about 25 minutes of the premier episode of “Survivor: Philippines” for Wellesley College alumna Roberta “RC” Saint-Amour to appear, but when she did the episode picked up some much-needed steam. RC forged a quick friendship with Brazilian business student Abi-Maria Gomes, and the two immediately recruited an alliance. “I’m definitely an all or nothing type girl,” RC, 27, said in her on-camera interview. “I know you’re not supposed to trust anybody in this game, but you have to trust someone at a certain time.” RC and Abi-Maria recruited former "Survivor" contestant Michael Skupin and Pete Yurkowski, who the girls feel is more brawn than brains. Roberta RC Saint-Amour, class of 2007, will compete on “Survivor: Philippines.”
One Wellesley College alumna will be competing on the show that combines teamwork, brains and physical skill – some of which she may have achieved at the historic local institution. Roberta “RC” Saint-Amour, class of ’07, is a contestant on the upcoming “Survivor: Philippines," the 25th installment of the CBS show. According to her CBS bio, Saint-Amour, 27, was a one-time hoop rolling champion while at Wellesley. As she explains in her introductory video on Youtube, where competitors roll an old, wooden hoop for one-eighth of a mile. Whoever does so the fastest is said to “achieve success however she defines it,” she says. Let's agree on one thing. RC kicks asses I mean she did in one episode what others do in a season Alliance, finding some fruit in a tree, kicking asses in the first challenge, lying about her job, telling jokes and she's super cool in twitter and sexy on TV I don't know what else we can ask for!   more ›
