Wellesley Does Lunch with the Stanley Cup

Lord Stanley’s Cup made the rounds at The Cottage this afternoon.

The Boston Bruins’ championship parade continued this afternoon in Wellesley. Kim Jacobs, wife of team executive Vice President Charlie Jacobs, brought the Stanley Cup to The Cottage, her favorite restaurant, she said. Kim Jacobs said she’s still in awe of hockey’s top prize, even after four months. “It’s pretty amazing,” she said. “It got to the house this morning it pulled up, they pulled it out of the car and it still takes my breath away.”

Timmy, I know you're entitled to your opinion, but please give it somewhere else. It's exciting that the Stanley Cup was in Wellesley and you really don't need to turn it into a dig at the restauraunt. By the way, the Cottage is one of my favorite restauraunts in town   more ›

Said owner and Wellesley resident, Richard Siber, "I've been making pizzas during their run, starting with Tampa Bay. People come in and watch the game, I bring out the pizzas. We all get a good smile and the camaraderie; we all enjoy a little of the Bruins experience." For Siber, hockey is a long-time passion. He currently plays on a team, and grew up watching the Bruins play. He says he "got …
