Wellesley 8th Grader Among Over 800 Serving This Weekend.

Wellesley Middle School student joining the Governor in a day of service this weekend for Project 351.

  A Wellesley Student is among hundreds of others from across the 351 communities across the commonwealth joining Governor Deval Patrick for a day of service.  Andrew Tucker of Wellesley Middle School is representing Wellesley as an ambassador this weekend--along with a growing list of over 800 students joining the Governor's Project 351. A press release from the Project says that students like Tucker were nominated by educational leaders in their hometowns "based on their exemplary service ethic and spirit of generosity." Project 351 gathers 8th grade ambassadors from across Mass. for a day of service, which ends with reflections on the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., according to a press release from the Governor's Office.
