Stamps Commemorating the Olympics on Display at Regis College

The event will involve commemorative stamps throughout the history of the Olympics.

Where can you see 116 years of Olympic-themed stamps on display? At Regis College! The Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History at Regis College will exhibit hundreds of stamps dating as far back as the late 1800s at an event today, according to Boston.com’s Parent Buzz section. The event, which costs $8 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students, $3 for members and free for children under age 5, is today from noon to 5 p.m.

Wellesley Postal Service Offers North Pole Postmark

Want your holiday cards to look like they came from Santa?

The following was provided by the USPS: The United States Postal Service is offering postmarks from the North Pole through Dec. 10. To receive the holiday postmark from the North Pole, customers should affix the correct postage to addressed envelopes and cards; then pack them in a larger envelope, box, Priority Mail or Express Mail package and send them to: North Pole Holiday Cancellation Postmaster 4141 Postmark Dr. Anchorage, AK 99530-9998 To ensure delivery by Christmas, all requests must be received in Anchorage by Dec. 10. The service is provided at no cost.
