Wellesley Police Log: Apartment Argument Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Wellesley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrest reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  Jan 13, at about 1 p.m. Wellesley Police were dispatched to a Wilson Street residence for a reported domestic disturbance. When Officer Cunningham arrived on the scene, he met one female party outside, and a second party inside. He reported there was a third party inside, yelling. One of the residents told police that there had been a verbal altercation between two of the three residents which escalated to a physical fight with punching and kicking.  Wellesley Police arrested and charged Ruth Rabadjija of Wilson Street with domestic assault-and-battery. She was released on personal recognizance.

Wellesley Police Log: Warrant Catches Man Suspected of Posing as a Vet for Money

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  The Wellesley Police received a tip from other law enforcement agencies indicating that a man was going around to area churches and asking to see a pastor. He would claim to be a veteran, and pressure church staff into giving them money. The Village Church reported a man matching his description had come in and asked to see the pastor. At about 1 p.m., the Church called Wellesley police and Officer Hughes was dispatched to the church. They said he left when told the pastor was not present.  Officer Porier found the party described, David Dunn of Leominster, 43, and confirmed he was the man who had gone into the …

Wellesley Police Log: Hangup Call and Broken Furniture

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department from Dec. 28 - 31. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  Hangup Call and Broken Furniture Dec. 30, a little after 9:15 p.m., police dispatch received a hangup call from an address on Belair Road, and sent Officer Joseph to investigate. Around the back of the home, police found a door unsecured, and broken furniture in the kitchen area of the apartment. They found a man who told police that he had made the call, and that he was having an argument with his girlfriend who would not let him leave the house.  They found a woman in the apartment, who also said they had a verbal argument, which got physical when he threw her to the ground. The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department from Dec. 24 - 27. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  Warrant Arrest While conducting traffic enforcement at about 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 24, Dec. Connelly reported a speeding car which, when he queried the plates, had an outstanding warrant for the owner. After confirming that the driver was the owner, Cyril Lousiner of Everett, 37, police arrested and charged him on that warrant for vehicle offenses. Wellesley Police Log: BOLO Leads to Warrant Arrest, Mixed Turn Signals

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department from Dec. 17 - 23. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  Mixed Turn Signals While driving along River Street near Washington Street at about 3 p.m. on Dec. 18, Detective Gallagher reported seeing a Toyota sedan make a right turn without using its turn signal. The vehicle made another right turn without signaling, and crossed the double-yellow line and wound up on Glen Road--which is when police tried to pull him over. The driver did not stop, but pulled into a driveway which is where Det. Gallagher spoke to him. The driver said he was unable to provide license and registration when asked, and that he was visiting his mother's house. He would not provide…

Wellesley Police Log: Undercover Arrest and an OUI

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  Undercover Cop An undercover detective, working with Wellesley Police and the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime task force (NorPAC), purchased heroin from 21-year-old Melvin Hernandez on Cedar Street, Dec 13, about 5:30 p.m. Shortly afterward, Wellesley Police Detective Connolly pulled the vehicle over and arrested and charged the three occupants.  Because the undercover detective has purchased from Hernandez before, so he was charged on two counts of distributing narcotics, three of distributing in a school zone, two counts of being present where narcotics were kept, and two counts of conspiracy to violate drug …

Wellesley Police Log: Drug Arrest After Traffic Stop

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  A car stop by the Wellesley Police lead to a drug arrest last week. On Dec. 12, Officer Christopher Cunningham pulled a blue pickup truck over after observing traffic violations. The officer waited on Grantland Road, after watching the truck drive onto a dead-end street and turn around. The driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts, police say. When asked for identification, the driver pulled a hatbox out of the rear seat and started going through cards, but ultimately couldn't find his license. He and the passenger both provided police with a name and date of birth.  After performing a check on both, …

The following reports were provided by the Wellesley Police Department from Dec. 3 - 9. Charges where mentioned do not indicate a conviction.  Beer in Cupholder, License Revoked 7:30 p.m. on s Officer Chris Cunningham was patrolling Worcester Street near Weston Road, he reported seeing a Ford pickup truck cross the left fog lane for about 300 feet before correcting itself. He pulled the vehicle over and spoke to the driver, who reportedly was not wearing a seatbelt.  The driver told police that his license had been suspended, and handed over a Mass. ID card.
