Police Respond to Overturned Auto on Grove Street
Needham and Wellesley police responding to a crash on Grove Street involving a pedestrian struck and a car overturned.
[Update: According to a police press release, the crashed vehicle had hit a parked landscaping trailer and rolled over on Grove Street this morning, at about 8:15 a.m. Equipment from the trailer hit a landscaping worker. The driver, a 57-year-old woman from Natick, was taken to Beth Israel Deaconness in Boston with minor injuries. The worker was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. 10:51 a.m.] ---- Scanners report that, at about 8:30 a.m., police received a report of an overturned car on Grove Street, near the town line. Reports indicate a pedestrian was struck in the crash. Wellesley Police tweeted a photo of the crash, which shows a silver Mazda upside down on the road.
