With Christmas approaching, many good boys and girls will sit down with pencil or crayon in hand to write out their wish list to Santa. These letters are always cute, sometimes funny, and we'd like to compile them into a photo gallery of our readers' children's missives to the big man in the red suit. So before your children send their letters to the North Pole, take a picture of the note with your digital camera or smartphone and upload it to this story by hitting the "Upload Photos and Videos" button under the pictures. A caption would be nice, too. Once we get a good amount of letters we will feature them in a gallery on the homepage. So, what do the kids want for Christmas?

The United States Postal Service is now accepting "Letters From Santa," a program that allows any person to play Santa by sending a letter signed by Saint Nick to any child.
