League of Women Voters hosting the 75th anniversary Candidates Night on Feb. 28.
To the Editor, Your readers are encouraged to come meet future Town board members and Town Meeting Members at our League’s 75th anniversary year Candidates Night, to be held February 28th at Sprague Elementary School. At 7:00 pm we will hold a special celebratory reception in recognition of our anniversary. At 7:30 we will begin our program by honoring retiring board members, many of whom your readers know, and all candidates to the stage to participate in a new form of candidates night, a roundtable discussion. “The Future of Wellesley: A Roundtable Discussion with Candidates,” will give incoming board members the opportunity to explore with one another -- and the audience -- broad issues facing the Town.
