Sunday Starts the Wellesley Holiday Stroll

Holiday Stroll running from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, bringing Santa, Frosty and Rudolph to parts of town, leading to the tree lighting.

  Santa Claus is coming to town, so is Frosty and Rudolph. They're showing up for Wellesley Square's 2012 Holiday Stroll, and they are inviting you. In addition to shopping at all of the regular Wellesley Square spots, there are plans for a scavenger hunt, as well as the three holiday icons meeting-and-greeting around the square. The evening ends with the lighting of the Post Office Square tree at 5 p.m.  Also planned, a scavenger hunt and a book signing with Ming Tsai.  A gift for cars is also coming, as the town has released its Free Holiday Parking map (see right). Image Gallery: Holiday Stroll Brings Seasonal Cheer to Linden Square

Linden Square gets in the holiday spirit with some events, including a visit from Santa Claus himself.

 Many of the stores were decked for the season yesterday for the Linden Square Holiday Stroll. and a special guest set up shop for Kids and pets took photos with Santa Claus, The Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club sold luminary kits, which adorned the sidewalks in for the second annual Luminary Night, and dozens embarked on their holiday shopping early. Today, both Mix 104.1 and a group of a capella carolers from Wellesley College, the Tupelos, join the festivities. Continuing the giving spirit, Unleashed by Petco also sponsored an event with all proceeds benefiting All Dog Rescue, an organization dedicated to matching rescue dogs with responsible owners.
