DRB Approves MLP, Ropes Course, T-Mobile Antennas and More
DRB meets on a number of cases including major and minor projects, signs, and house renovations.
Plans for an addition at the Municipal Light Plant, initially presented at the previous Design Review Board (DRB) meeting by director Richard Joyce and associates Debra Healy and Matt King, were approved by the DRB. Returning as well, was John Martin of Elkus Manfredi Architects with the proposal for Newton-Wellesley Hospital's upcoming Ambulatory Surgery facility at 27 Washington St. The current plan was called a "huge improvement" by DRB member Robert Broder. With a few minor notes about benches on the property, the plan was approved. The proposed CVS Pharmacy on Worcester Street was another item of business from the previous DRB meeting.
