It's winter in New England. And winter in New England is cold. We know this. But right now, we're at the beginning of an extra cold stretch. We figured you could help warm your fingers by typing an ending to the beginning of this sentence: "You know it's cold out when..." We think it's cold out when you take your glove off and your hand is cold just a few seconds later. Or when everything in your nostrils freezes up. Readers, what do you think? Town Meeting 2012 began last night. The session ended just after 11 p.m. Six of the 37 articles were voted on in Session No. 1. Town Meeting will continue tonight at 7:30 at the Middle School… …And will continue on consecutive Monday and Tuesday nights (except April 16 and 17, if necessary, because of school vacation) until all 37 articles have been voted on. The temperature outside dipped dramatically during the course of last night’s first session. Today, chilly temperatures will stick around, according to the National Weather Service.
