Lots of Ticketing for Not Clicking Your Seatbelt

Local police focuses on its annual initiative to enforce the "Click It Or Ticket" law.

With prom and graduation season, as well as Memorial Day weekend, and the start of the summer parties ramping up, law enforcement uses the time to enstate its enforcement blitz on the "Click It or Ticket" initiative. "The mobilization is part of a statewide effort funded by the EOPSS that consists of extra high-visibility traffic enforcement and public information," read a press release issued by the Massachusetts State Police. This mobiliation began on May 14 and will continue through June 3. State Police added that more than a quarter of Massachusetts drivers still fail to buckle up.
