Whole Foods says it's eco-friendly to only sell sustainable fish. Sen. Brown says it'll hurt Massachusetts fishermen.
Sen. Scott Brown, R-MA, is challenging Whole Foods' new policy of selling only sustainable fish. According to boston.com, Brown said this will hurt local fishermen and their industry. He said their policy is based on "uncertain science" and said the government already has tough regulations in place for fishing. What do you think? The Easter Bunny will soon go in to hibernation!
We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? The local leading business school partnered with Gapingvoid, a company that specializes in “art with a purpose.”
Babson College is renowned for its top notch business-rich curriculum and for churning out successful entrepreneurs. With its latest partnership, the school might also become known for a new cartoon-like logo. Babson partnered recently with Gapingvoid, which is the work of cartoonist Hugh McLeod. McLeod specializes in “art with a purpose,” according to a Babson press release Wednesday. McLeod’s art is on one hand cerebral and on the other visually appealing and distinctly cartoonish. His work is centered on motivating and inspiring messages set to a funny or thought-provoking drawing. He has been commission to draw for Techcrunch, Intel and Purina to name a few.
