Jorge Lopez-Benetiz, 19, of 11 Webb Ave., was arrested last week on warrant-related charges after an officer pulled him over for speeding. Wellesley Police officer Christopher Fritts was on patrol July 7 on Wellesley Avenue when he saw a Lopez-Benetiz driving 48 mph in the posted 30 mph zone, according to Lt. Marie Cleary of the Wellesley Police Department. Fritts stopped Lopez-Benetiz, who said he had no ID. A check of his name and date of birth revealed there was a warrant out for his arrest for motor vehicle-related charges. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license had been suspended and speeding.

Three Arrested for Illegal Door-to-Door Magazine Soliciation Wellesley Police arrested three men for selling magazines without a permit last week. Raymond Pablo, 20, of Los Angeles, Calif., Andrew Paul Perdion, 26, of West Suffield, Conn. and Jeffrey Gragg, 20, of Edmond, Okla. were arrested Sept. 8 on reports that they were going door-to-door selling magazines without a permit, according to Wellesley Police records clerk Sue Morse.
