1. Wellesley police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation caught up to Hector Luis Rivera, 26, hiding out in a house in Wellesley July 21. Rivera, who allegedly had involvement in the Latin Kings, the largest Hispanic crime syndicate in the United States. Rivera was indicted on a laundry list of charges. Among them were murder in aid of racketeering activity, and intent to distribute narcotics. 2. Ayanna Woodhouse, 25, was charged with aggravated assault and battery and manslaughter after an altercation she had with pregnant woman April 10 at a Dorchester nail salon resulted in the death of the unborn child.
