The Kiwanis Club of Wellesley was established in 1926 with a simple mission statement: "Young children are priority one." To accomplish its goals, the club sponsors the Wellesley High School Key Club, the Wellesley College Circle and the Boot and Shoe program, which distributes gift certificates to families who could otherwise not afford protective footwear.
