Once the Natick Central Fire Station, this building was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. It was built in 1875 after a fire that destroyed most of downtown Natick and became the Center for Arts in 2003. The performance area seats 290 audience members who enjoy more than 300 shows and classes each year. With art galleries displaying locals' work, open mic nights, comedy shows and other musical performances throughout the year, the Center for Arts is a hub of entertainment in town. The center also hosts workshops and classes for kids.
