SATURDAY EVENTS

11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.: Join Wellesley Free Library’s informal Book Chat. This group does not discuss one specific title. Instead, each participant shares impressions of recent favorites, and everyone leaves with a new list of great reads. No sign-up is necessary.

2 to 4 p.m.: Wellesley Public Library has opened up their monthly Magic the Gathering club to gamers of all sorts. Kids and teenagers can bring Magic the Gathering decks, Dungeons and Dragons dice, board games, playing cards, or simply come to play. Meet other gamers, try new games, and take on new opponents.

7:30 p.m.: Jewett Auditorium at Wellesley College, 106 Central St., will present the Body Music in Boston concert. A touring concert of traditional and contemporary body music from around the globe, this evening includes nine artists from the 2013 International Body Music Festival. From tundra to tropics, people snap, clap, step and sing artful music, igniting audiences with music you can SEE, dance you can HEAR. This event is free and open to the public, although RSVP is recommended. This event will take place through Tuesday, Nov. 19.


SUNDAY EVENTS

2 to 4 p.m.: Joe Wiegand will entertain visitors at Wellesley Free Library with his portrayal of President Theodore Roosevelt. Enjoy T.R.'s adventures as rancher, Rough Rider and father of six in the White House. Relive the establishment of America's National Parks and hear stories from bear hunts to the Panama Canal, from Africa to the Amazon. This program is free and open to the public.

2 to 4 p.m.: Get together to knit, chat, share and work on your knitting projects at Wellesley Free Library. This program is free and open to the public. New members are always welcome. For more information, email Barbara Peacock-Coady bpcoady@comcast.net.

3 p.m.: MassBay Community College, 50 Oakland St., Wellesley, will be host to Boston Pops Orchestra principal clarinetist Thomas Martin. He will join Wellesley Symphony Orchestra and together they will play Debussy's Rhapsody for Clarinet and John Williams' "Viktor's Tale" from "The Terminal,"  Wagner’s Introduction to Act III "Lohengrin" and Robert Schumann's Symphony No. 4. Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and students and free for children younger than 12.

3 to 4 p.m.: Join Wellesley Free Library for science experiments. Each month, kids in grades 3 through 5 will conduct some messy, oozing and exciting experiments. In case of bad weather, meet in the Children's Craft Room. Since space is limited, register one week before each session. This program will continue once a month, with the next session Dec. 15.
