11 a.m.: Halloween Trick or Treat Parade, Dorset Organic Cafe 352 Washington St., Wellesley Hills

The Wellesley Recreation Dept. and the Wellesley Hills Merchants invite children 0-8 to participate in a free Halloween Parade in Wellesley Hills. Wellesley Hills merchants will be handing out treats on the parade which finishes in Clock Tower Park with games provided by Knucklebones and a visit from the Wellesley Fire Department truck.

2 to 3 p.m.: Teddy Bear Picnic and Wellness Program, Wellesley Free Library

Is your bear wheezing up dust bunnies from too many nights left under the bed?  Are her eyes loose?  Have his seams popped?  Bring your teddy bear to the Storyhour Room at the Wellesley Free Library for a once-over from two highly qualified librarians. Pre-register for this program, as space is limited.


SUNDAY EVENTS

2 to 3 p.m.: Anthony Amore on the Isabella Stewart Gardner Art Theft Mystery, Wellesley Free Library

Meet Anthony Amore, co-author of the book “Stealing Rembrandts: The Untold Story of Notorious Art Heists.”

2 to 4 p.m.: Sunday Knitting Group, Wellesley Free Library

Get together to knit, chat, share and work on your knitting projects. Free and open to the public. New members always welcome. For more information, email Barbara Peacock-Coady, bpcoady@comcast.net.

3 to 4 p.m.: Backyard Science, Wellesley Free Library

Each month, kids in grades 3-5 will conduct some messy, oozing and exciting experiments. Since space is limited, register before each session.

4 p.m.: Halloween Haunted Tower, Galen Stone Tower, Green Hall, Wellesley College

The Wellesley College Guild of Carillonneurs invites you to an afternoon of spooky music, and to brave the haunted tower.
