10:30 a.m. to noon: Children in kindergarten through fourth grade may sign up for a 15-minute session with one of Wellesley Free Library’s dog reading partners. SUNDAY EVENTS

10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Unitarian Universalist of Wellesley, 309 Washington St., presents its Winter 2014 Religious Education Play featuring youth in kindergarten through fifth grade with original script and music. The play focuses on the theme of moral courage. In “How Did Camp Go Today?,” vignettes of “Loaves and Fishes,” Henry Bergh and Martin Luther King Jr. are used to illustrate different aspects of moral courage that relate to modern day situations faced by three children at summer camp. 2 to 3:15 p.m.: The John Funkhouser Quartet will perform in the Wakelin Room of Wellesley Free Library. The John Funkhouser Quartet travels its own path, creating eclectic, heartfelt and unique music, grounded in jazz but drawing from a plethora of musical styles. This program is free and open to the public.
