Wellesley Free Library to Hold Edible Art Program

2. Board of Selectmen meeting

The Wellesley Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. They will discuss the Sustainable Energy Committee’s 2014 Power to Choose Campaign and sign the 2014 annual Town Meeting warrant. Click here for the complete agenda.


3. Online and mobile calendar workshop

Take control of your schedule using an online or mobile calendar. Learn about color-coding, sharing and other features to organize information. In the first part of this class, set up a web-based calendar. After that, spend some time looking at setting up mobile calendars on your phone. Skills required for this class: mouse, keyboard, and basic internet including tabs. This program takes place 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 in Jackie’s Room. Registration is required as space is limited. Register by calling 781-235-1610, extension 1105 or in person at the reference desk.


4. Edible Art program

Kids in grades 6 through 8 are invited to Wellesley Free Library’s craft room Thursday, Jan. 23 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for Edible Art. Concoct scrumptious and eye-catching delicacies, then eat them when you’re done. If you have food allergies, contact the Children’s Department ahead of time to be accommodated. No experience is necessary.


5. Rep. Alice Peisch office hours

State Representative Alice Peisch will hold office hours starting 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24 at Wellesley Free Library.
