Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company Coming to Wellesley College

1. This week’s weather forecast:

Monday: There will be morning sun then clouds. It will be a bit breezy with a west southwest wind turning west northwest at 8-18 mph with higher gusts. Temperatures will be near 60.

Tuesday: It’s going to be a frosty start, and mostly sunny. It will be chilly with temperatures in the upper 40s.

Wednesday: There will be mainly cloudy skies with some light rain showers. Highs will be in the upper 40s.

Thursday: Expect clouds, sun and a mild, but busy southerly breeze developing. A passing shower is possible. Highs will be near 60. Trick or treat forecasts are in the mid 50s.

Friday: It will be mild, windy and wet with soaking showers likely. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s despite the clouds and rain. South wind will be 10-20 mph.


2. Meetings this week:

The Board of Selectmen will meet 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 to go over the selectmen’s FY15 capital request, an alcohol license application for Justin’s Grille, the high school stadium and more.

The School Committee will discuss a long term facilities capital plan, superintendent goals and evaluation and other business 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.


3. Dead Serious Comedy Festival

Friday, Nov. 1, come to the Wellesley College Wang Campus Center at 6 p.m. for Pro Night. Come laugh and enjoy professional improv from professional improvisors featuring the Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company.


4. 2013 World Series Schedule

The Red Sox managed to tie up the series Sunday night with a win over the Cardinals. They will now face St. Louis 7:30 p.m. for Game 5. Wednesday and Thursday they will come back to Boston for a 7:30 p.m. game.
