1. This week’s weather:
Monday: There is an 80 percent chance of sleet with rain, freezing rain and snow. Temperature highs will be around 40. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain. There will be patchy fog with lows in the lower 30s.
Tuesday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 30s. Tuesday night will be mostly clear and cooler with lows around 20.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy and cold. Temperature highs will be in the upper 20s while lows will be 15 to 20.
Thursday: Partly cloudy and cold. Temperature highs will be in the upper 20s while lows will be 15 to 20.

2. Special Town Meeting
Tonight is the first session of Special Town Meeting. It will be held 7:30 p.m. at Wellesley High School. For the warrant articles click here. If need be, the Special Town Meeting will continue Tuesday and Wednesday.
3. Board of Selectmen meeting
The Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday, Dec.10, 6:15 p.m. at Wellesley High School in the Principal Conference Room.
4. Richela Fabian Morgan to hold duct-tape crafts and book signing
Join crafter and duct-tape genius Richela Fabian Morgan, author of the books “Tape it & Make it” and “Tape it and Make More,” for an afternoon of duct-tape crafts Thursday, Dec. 12, 3:30 p.m.. Learn how to create flower barrettes, wallets, ties, pencil cases and more, all from this common household item. This program is open to kids in grades 6 through 8. Sign-up is required. After the program around 5 p.m., copies of the books will be available for sale and signing by the author. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Wellesley Free Libraries.
5. School Committee meetingThe School Committee will meet Thursday, Dec. 12, 6:30 p.m. in the Juliani Room of Town Hall. The fiscal year 2015 operating budget will be discussed. For the complete agenda click here.
