Healthy Habits Kitchen Making Eating Local Produce Easy

If you’re like most of us, you shop the farmers market and marvel at the beautiful produce, but have no idea what to do with it. Or, maybe you’re a member of a CSA and are constantly challenged with using unfamiliar or abundant ingredients. In fact, a leading reason for CSA fallout is because people lack inspiration or ideas when it comes to needing to use tons of zucchini or many bunches of kale.

Healthy Habits Kitchen in Wellesley has been longtime fixtures at many area farmers markets and were constantly seeing people grappling with how to turn produce into appetizing dishes. To help support local farmers and enable people to eat healthy using local ingredients, they’ve created a one-of-kind line called Farm2Fork.

In a Farm2Fork box you get all of the non-perishable ingredients and a recipe card needed to create a light meal, side dish or dessert. The initial line includes Farro, Kale, Cranberry & Almond Salad, Fruity Nutty Crumble, Chocolate Black Bean Wheatberry Chili, One Bowl Zucchini Oatmeal Bread and Curried Lentil Soup, and look for more options coming soon! For example, running out of ways to use kale? Just add this superfood and a couple of pantry items to their Farro, Kale, Cranberry & Almond Salad to create a healthy cold lunch or light dinner. No having to shop for other ingredients or searching for recipes!
