Wellesley's Austin Susmann Finishes Boston Marathon in 2:51

About 36,000 runners ran the 118th marathon Monday.

Wellesley's Austin Susmann finished Monday's Boston Marathon with a time of 2 hours, 51 minutes, and 30 seconds.

The time was good for 1,089th place overall. Susmann, 28, was the fastest Wellesley runner.

More than 100 Wellesley residents registered to run the race. Search for results by town or name on the Boston Marathon website.

American Meb Keflezighi finished first overall with a time of 2 hours, 8 minutes, and 37 seconds. He was the first American to win the race since 1983.

About 36,000 runners registered for the marathon, which featured a larger-than-usual crowd of about a million spectators after last year's deadly bombings.
