Potpourri Designs is a specialty women's boutique that sells clothing, accessories, jewelry and more. Featured products this week include Alexis Bittar Bangles, Lauer Texting gloves Liebeskind purse and wallet and other seasonal items.
Owned by Lyn Evans Shotkus, the Wellesley store is one in a small chain of eight throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. Shotkus opened the first store in 1978. It hasn't been all about the business, however. Shotkus and her staff give back to the community through a combination of fundraisers, fashion shows and other charity events throughout the year. In 2012, Shotkus received the Retailers Association of Massachusetts (RAM) Award of Excellence for commitment to Community Service.
Potpourri Designs is located at 8 Church St. Store hours are Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays noon to 5 p.m.
