Stress Be Gone with Qigong!

The holidays are here and with the excitement and planning comes a bit more stress and less time to take care of ourselves.  Try Qigong to reduce stress and maintain your well being. Here’s a simple and fun exercise to try called Shaking Like a Tree: Stand straight with feet pointing forward about shoulder width apart. Lean slightly forward and drop your tail bone, allowing your body to bounce and shake as a tree swaying and shaking in a storm.  Like the tree with its roots deep in the ground, your feet are deeply rooted in the earth. Let your body bounce and guide you where it will, releasing all the tension and stress. Take deep breaths and exhale as you do this exercise.  It’s a great way to release stress and restore balance and harmony. If you do this exercise 5-10 minutes a day, you’ll see a big change in your mood, energy and in your life!
