Where Wellesley’s MCAS Scores Stand
MCAS results were made available this week, here's how Wellesley did as compared to the rest of the state.
The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment Test scores were published and organized by the Boston Globe this week, and Wellesley earned high scores in English.
The highest score came out of 10th Grade English at 98 points out of a possible 100. The town low came from fifth grade science with 53. The rest vary, but in all test categories each grade’s English score was higher than either math or science.
Scores are all out of a possible 100 points, as ranked by the Globe. The Globe tabulated the scores by adding the percentages of students who scored "advanced or "proficient" in each category.
