Wellesley's Babson College Picks Up New COO


Babson College is switching up more of its leadership team. Along with a new President, the college announced yesterday morning that it has a new Chief Operating Officer.

Ranch Kimball, who most recently worked as the CEO and President of Cambridge Innovation Center Partners--an a venture capitalist firm which has put $1.8 billion into over 530 start-up companies in recent years, according to a press release

Kimball has also served as a Wheelock College trustee chariman for three years, as well as working with the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Boston Museum of Science, MassDevelopment and a host of other local organizations.

“I am thrilled that Ranch Kimball is bringing his talents, business expertise and growth-oriented vision to Babson,” said Babson President Kerry Healey in a release. “As I continue to grow Babson’s profile domestically and internationally, Ranch is ideally suited to build on Babson’s efforts to create new opportunities that will extend the College’s unique methodology and perspective to individuals, businesses and organizations here in Boston and throughout the region.”
