Wellesley High School Tour Coming Up

Want to see the new Wellesley High School? Stop by next weekend to tour the new facilities.

On Nov. 24, next Saturday, the new Wellesley High School will no longer be the domain of the students--the doors are open for tours.

According to the Town Website, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be 45 minute High School tours running every 15 minutes leaving from the school lobby.

The parking lot at the school is still under construction, which means visitors will have to park in nearby parking lots, like the basketball lot. The Town Website includes a map of other parking.

Patch got a look inside the new school in February, and its Auditorium named for "Gig" Babson. The old school closed in February, and came down in July. The tower was built in 1938, and was filmed coming down by the Wellesley Channel in the middle of that month.
