Wellesley High School No. 4 in State Rankings

The school made the top of US News & World Report's annual list.

US News & World Report released its annual report of the nation's top high schools Tuesday and Wellesley High School was ranked No. 4 on the list of best public high schools in Massachusetts.

The report found:
  • Wellesley High has a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio (state average was 13:1)
  • Its "college readiness" score was 67.4 out of 100
  • 98 percent of students were proficient in math
  • 96 percent of students were proficient in English
The report also ranked Wellesley High No. 164 in the country.

No surprise. Wellesley Public schools have been providing top notch education for decades. However, I am glad and proud that the schools are receiving this national recognition.
