Patch Live Chat: How To Manage Your College Finances

With the class of 2013 is packing up for college, we want to send them off as prepared as possible. Money is a particular challenge for some kids, and we have an expert lined up to share some advice.

Join us Thursday, August 1, at noon for our Patch Live Chat on college finances. Our expert Jane Lundquist from Rockland Trust will be on hand to answer questions about what college students should do with their money. She's the Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Delivery at Rockland

So, college students, if you're wondering whether you should have a bank with branches near your parents house, or what to do with a credit card, you may want to clear a space in your schedule.

That said, if you can't make it to ask your questions when we're live, you can leave them in the comments below. We will have a full transcript on the site after the chat.

The format will be similar to the chat we had last week with Joseph Kennedy III, who actually answered some questions about college finances, when asked about the recent student loans bill in Congress. Lundquist, however, will have some more specific answers about college money.
