New Wellesley High School Principal Named

Jamie Chisum has been named the principal of Wellesley High School.

Chisum had served as assistant principal there for seven years.

"Before arriving in Wellesley, Dr. Chisum taught English at Taconic High School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts," school officials said in a statement. "Dr. Chisum holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brandeis University, a Master of Education Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and recently completed a Doctor of Education Degree from Boston College."
