McCullough Speech Makes NBC Nightly News

The commencement speech that's taken the Internet by storm made mainstream media.

The  has hit the mainstream.

NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams aired a brief segment at the end of last night’s newscast in which  English teacher David McCullough Jr. discussed his choice words for Wellesley High School’s graduates.

“I perhaps, naively, had no idea the entire electronic world was eavesdropping,” he said in the NBC interview.

In the speech, McCullough tells the students they’re “not special” and that failure and experience bring about true learning in life.
