Folks who suffer from poison ivy allergies, good news: Wellesley's Department of Public Works is doing something about it.
The Town announced on its website that the DPW is spraying for poison ivy and invasive weeds on public ways around town. The spraying is set to begin July 10, weather permitting. Although there could be some spraying today, and further touch-ups in August.
Any areas sprayed will have signs posted for 24 hours. See the photo for more.
