Wellesley Democratic Town Committee Hosting Candidate Series

The Wellesley Democratic Town Committee began hosting a candidate series with the Democratic gubernatorial candidates this Fall, starting Oct. 23 with national security expert Juliette Kayyem.  

Kayyem was a former Globe columnist and Department of Homeland Security official.

Candidates for Governor and other statewide offices have been invited to share their views and answer questions in these local forums to be held at the main Wellesley Library from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Joe Avellone, health care executive and former Wellesley Selectman

Wednesday, Dec. 18 – Steve Grossman, State Treasurer

Wednesday, Jan. 15 – Don Berwick, pediatrician and former administrator of Medicare and Medicaid

Recently declared candidate for Governor Attorney General Martha Coakley and other declared Democratic candidates for statewide office are also being scheduled to appear.
