Town Publishes Election Preview Guide

This year's primary is on a Thursday.

The town of Wellesley has published a voter-friendly guide toward this fall’s elections. Below are a few bullet points about this year’s races:

  • The primary election this year is on Thursday, Sept. 6.
  • Rep. Alice Peisch (D) will be opposed by Jerome Carr (D) in this year’s primary election.
  • For U.S. Senate, Democrat Elizabeth Warren challenges Republican Scott Brown in the general election Nov. 6.
  • For the Massachusetts Fourth Congressional seat, there is technically a race on both the Democratic and Republican sides, though only candidates on the Republican side are currently active, according to Town Clerk Kathy Nagle.
