Proposed Bus Routes for Wellesley Revealed, Public Forum Thursday

The new Route 8 shuttle bus will run from Natick through Wellesley to the Green Line, according to boston.com. Officials are still looking for public feedback regarding the route and will hold a public forum Thursday, boston.com said.

The bus route will take off from Natick's community-senior center on East Central Street and will continue through Wellesley from Route 135 to Route 16. The final stop is as the Woodland Station on the Green Line in Newton, boston.com said.

The shuttle will run every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will cost $1.50, according to boston.com. Discounts are available.

There will be a public forum Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the Great Hall at Town Hall. Officials are interested in public feedback and will not finalize the shuttle's operations until they receive it.
