MLP Looking Into Cell Reception Dead Spots

The town has scheduled two public meetings to gather input about the current cell system.

The is looking to improve cell phone reception in Wellesley.

MLP workers are evaluating the distributed antenna system (DAS), which involves eight small canisters with antennas inside affixed to light posts at select spots in town, according to an MLP press release.

Towns avoid having to place large cell towers with the DAS, the release says, but the MLP wants to know if residents feel the current system provides enough reception.
