The Cedar Street bridge project is part of what we call our “new normal” at MassDOT. We’re trying to get projects done with more efficiency and greater speed, while minimizing impacts to local traffic and inconvenience to our customers. I am sure that the people of Wellesley can appreciate this effort after the issues we had with the Route 16 overpass. We’re excited to show the results of our innovative construction practices and technology and are looking to do more of this type of work.  We encourage feedback on what went right and on where we need to do better.
