Fixed-Route Bus Service Begins in Wellesley This Fall

According to a recent release from the deputy director's office, a fixed-route bus service is scheduled to begin in Wellesley this fall. The Metro West Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) is sponsoring the service and working with the town to confirm the route and bus stops, the release said.

There will be two public forums for residents to share ideas regarding the routes and to ask questions. The first forum will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m., in the Wakelin Room of the Wellesley Free Library. The second forum will be held on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 8:30 a.m., in Great Hall (Floor H) of Town Hall, according to the release.
